Where is the app?

In the menu bar, near the clock: a small desk-lamp icon. There is no Dock icon and no window.

How do I switch the light on or off?

Click the lamp, or press Control-Option-L from anywhere.

How do I make the room darker or lighter?

Right-click the lamp and turn the LIGHT knob. The selector under it picks Candle, Warm or Daylight.

Can I dim the window I am working in too?

Yes. In the control panel, click the drawer at the bottom to pull it out, then lower the LAMP fader. The ROOM knob next to it sets the room on its own.

How do I start it at login?

Pull out the drawer in the control panel and flip the At login switch to ON.

The wrong area is lit, or nothing is lit.

Sticky Lamp lights the front window of the app you are using. Small panels, pop-ups and some games or web-based apps report their windows differently; the dim fades out instead of lighting the wrong spot. Click the window you want to work in.

How do I quit it?

Right-click the lamp, pull out the drawer and click Quit.
