Sticky Lamp collects no data. Nothing leaves your Mac.
What the app reads
To light the window you are working in, Sticky Lamp asks macOS, on your Mac only, which app is in front and where its windows are on screen (their position and size). It does not read window titles or what is inside any window, and it does not record your screen.
These readings stay in memory while the app runs. They are not saved to disk, and they are never sent anywhere.
What the app stores
Only your settings (how dark the room is, the lamp level, the bulb colour, whether the drawer is open), in the app's own preferences on your Mac.
What the app does not do
- No network access: it does not connect to the internet.
- No accounts, no sign-in.
- No analytics, tracking, advertising or crash reporting.
- No sharing with third parties.
Children
The app collects no information from anyone, including children.
